In the U.K. there is something called the Official Secrets Act. The government has the power to order that certain subjects are forbidden to be discussed. It is also forbidden to discuss how the official secrets act exactly works. When an editor, station manager or publisher thinks a certain subject is covered by the act they must inform the government. Now if the government issues a "D" notice then media outlets are forbidden to go ahead with any stories on that subject. The "D" notice also authorizes the government to seize and close down any printing plant, radio station or TV transmitter that may be in the process of broadcasting that story. The editor, publisher, and key personnel may be placed under arrest. To make matters worse the rest of the media is not allowed to report on these arrests or seizures. At this moment the forbidden subject is any discussion of possible foul play in the death of Princess Diana. There has been a concerted effort since Diana's death to plant disinformation. For example - The car was formely stolen, the car had faulty brakes, it was a defective car, the car came from a junkyard, the car was speeding at 100 mph, the car was speeding at 120 mph, the car was speeding at 160 mph, and so on. This is an old intelligence ploy. If you confuse the people with fake facts then the people will have no time to analyze the real facts.

Only the sole survivor of the crash , bodygaurd Trevor Rees-Jones was wearing a seat belt. Why?.

In 1996 the bodygaurd of Princess Diana, was dismissed from the Wales entourage for "over familiarity" with Diana. In May 1997 he was killed in a motorcycle accident.

Witnesses at the scene of the accident claim they did not recognize Diana despite the fact that she was the most photographed woman in the world.

A former British Secret Intelligence Service officer has alleged that the Paris crash that killed Diana and Dodi bore unnerving resemblance to a 1992 MI6 plot to murder Serbian President Slobodan Milisovic. One scenerio put forward by British Intelligence to assassinate Milisovac involved causing his personal limousine to crash inside a tunnel. It was suggested one way to cause the limousine to crash might be to disorientate the chauffer using a strobe flash gun.

Princess Diana and lover Dodi Fayed were planning to marry, a priest has revealed. In a series of meetings leading up to the week of her death, the Princess poured out her heart to Father Frank Gelli, who has kept silent for three years since the accident that rocked a nation. She revealed her love for Dodi and asked the priest to perform the wedding ceremony, and questioned him on the implications of a mixed-religion marriage. The minister says, "I feel sure that if Diana and Dodi had not been so tragically killed, they would have married." Diana phoned Father Frank just days before the fatal car crash, to tell him she had "good news." Father Gelli says, "After all the things she had told me about their relationship, I could only imagine she was about to announce her engagement to Dodi."

This is what leads me to think she was much more important than we were/are lead to believe. Maybe not to the extent of this last article, but she had power and was gaining much more power than 'they' would have wanted her to have.
